So, why no review of Gunbuster? By your review of Diebuster (which was awesome, I never thought of that), you’ve evidently watched it (and seem to like it, although what do I know?). It’s such a good show, even as a stand-alone, exempting the homage that Diebuster pays to it. Do you plan to do one ever?

No particular reason! I do have a comparative essay I started about Gunbuster and a few other shows that have similar themes, but I haven’t got around to doing much work on it. Sadly, that’s true of a lot of post ideas…
But you’re right, I did like it!

That’s a pretty understandable reason. I’ve dabbled in writing before, and one of the things I found the hardest was finding things I had something to write about. No matter how much I may have wanted to write about something, if I didn’t have anything to put down, there wasn’t much I could do.
I’m glad you liked it, though! I thought is was an awesome show that definitely doesn’t get enough love these days (in my humble opinion). From tear-jerking to kick-ass, Gunbuster definitely accomplished a lot in its short time frame.
